Search Engine Land is one of the world’s most respected search marketing authorities, so when they announced last year that they were launching an award ceremony to #celebratesearch, AOD jumped on the opportunity to be part of the event. Last year we applied and were nominated as one of three international finalists for the Pay it Forward Category, recognizing the best SEO or SEM effort for a charitable organization. The full details of last year’s nomination can be found here. It was a tight race, and although we did not win the award, we had an incredible night at the event and met amazing friends.
The 2nd Annual Landy Awards and our Work with Fjällräven
This year, we are at it again! AOD is absolutely thrilled to be listed as one of five finalists internationally in the Best Retail Search Marketing Initiative – SEO for our work with Fjällräven Canada. If you haven’t heard of Fjällräven or seen one of the Kånken backpacks being carried around, then you must be a resident of Tristan da Cunha. To the rest of the world, this Swedish-based company is well-known for their sustainably manufactured outdoor gear.
We are extremely proud to lead Fjällräven’s marketing efforts in Canada and of the results we’ve delivered so far. In the last year, we more than doubled traffic to the Fjällräven Canada website as well as our target Kånken backpack landing pages, making AOD the “one-to-watch” when it comes to landing a Landy award in the Best Retail SEO category.
